You must be paid for all time worked - it's the law.
Workers often do extra hours or work through paid breaks without getting paid. You should be paid for all time worked - it's the law - an extra 5 or 10 minutes here or there adds up over time.
If you're required to wear a specific uniform - your employer must pay for it.
If your work has a specific uniform that you're required to wear - such as Company branded clothing or apparel from the store - then your employer should supply the uniform at no cost.
Employers must pay superannuation contributions.
Countless workers miss out on superannuation payments each year. Employers are required to pay superannuation contributions to all employees over 18 & employees under 18 who work more than 30 hours per week. This applies whether they are full-time, part-time or casual.
You should get a payslip every time you're paid.
Many workers don't get pay slips or forget to keep them. You should receive a pay slip from your employer every time you're paid. It's important to keep pay slips in case you're underpaid.
